Yarmouth Regional Hospital (YRH) is seeking a full time General Radiologist to join the thriving group of 7 in the dynamic hospital-based practice. The diverse practice offers a wide range of radiology services, including radiography, CT, fluoroscopy, breast imaging, ultrasound, MRI and image-guided procedures. Collegial relationships with onsite technologists, support staff, and physicians across various specialties. Flexible work hours are typically from 8 am to 4 pm. Job Description

Responsibilities
•    Diagnostic imaging services including CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography and nuclear medicine 
•    Various image guided procedures
•    Physician will be responsible to the Zone Department of Radiology for professional responsibilities and quality of practice, as well as operated within the medical staff Bylaws of Nova Scotia Health
•    Provide hospital and call support as required
•    Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities as assigned
 

Qualifications

•    Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
•    certification with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
•    Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
