Job Description

Case Therapists II for Wheaton, IL location. Assess patients, plan treatment, and provide direct patient services including individual, group, and family counseling for substance abuse and mental health issues. Coordinate care including communicating with treatment team, patient, and family, documenting in medical record, and discharge planning, continuum of care. Perform assessment for patient admission to a high level of care. Treating dual diagnosis patients. Oversee the dual diagnosis program for adolescents, including facilitating education group, program assessment, research, administration. New program development and facilitation (continuing care, family programming) including cross training, facilitating groups, assessment. Provides clinical supervision and training to graduate student interns. Gives case presentations to staff. Maintains knowledge of drugs and how they may therapeutically or negatively impact patient. Actively provides input to elevate care and shares trends and information from behavioral health field contacts to help develop programs. Cross train to other areas of behavioral health services.  

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field plus 2 years of experience in counseling required. Required: Two years post graduate experience, including: substance abuse and mental health populations; assessment; individual, family, and group counseling. Must hold Illinois LSW, LCSW, LPC or LCPC. $71,943/year - $97,123/year.
