Job Description

The Operations Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly monitoring of statistical targets. Including E&M level of services billed, use of modifiers (example, G2211), TCM visit volumes, and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (AWV) volumes.
  • Communicates with clinical and administrative leadership across NMG to develop educational programs that address identified opportunities to improve billing coding accuracy and level of services billed.
  • Provides at-the-elbow support to physicians and APPs to address questions and trends in professional billing and coding.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excel verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Educational training / experience
  • Epic, Billing and Coding experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (MHA, HIM), or currently enrolled in related program (AHIMA, RHIT, HIM)
