Job Description

The Senior Application Tech Analyst, Peoplesoft reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Sr Application Technical Analyst, Peoplesoft is responsible for the overall operation of the system hardware and software, operating systems and data platform, ensuring full operation and integration into NMH information technology and functional environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring, analysis and performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot performance issues related to infrastructure, software, OS and DB systems
  • Provide technical support, addressing long-running queries and other performance related issues
  • Develop and maintain system documentation
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8 or more years technical experience with midrange platforms or Local Area Network
  • 3-5 years technical or functional experience with core system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in PS Admin role (PeopleSoft Administrator)
  • Familiarity with Oracle database administration
  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft technologies including Java, WebLogic, and Tuxedo across both Linux and Windows OS
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Administration and use of Phire application for change management procedures
  • Experience deploying PeopleSoft Update Manager packages utilizing Change Assistant Experience performing database refreshes
  • Experience utilizing Elasticsearch
  • Experience maintaining SSL Certificates
  • Proficient in using Oracle’s DPK software and PeopleSoft CA to install PeopleTools patches and upgrades
