The Polysomnographic Tech II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Center for Sleep Medicine at NM CDH puts patients first using American Association of Sleep Medicine guidelines for a best-practice model of care.  We help patients achieve optimal health by providing outstanding care, diagnosis, and treatment as indicated.  We are a professional and knowledgeable team that consistently advocates for improved quality of life for our patients.  We preserve dignity and respect for patients, families, and employees by acting with compassion and collaboration, which leads to excellent patient and employee engagement. 

This role is a clinically competent Registered Polysomnography Technologist who performs and scores accurate polysomnograms, is responsible for accurate and clear recordings, recognizes abnormal recordings and values and intervenes appropriately. The Polysomnographic Tech II effectively interacts with patients and family members, and other health team members.

Required:

• RPSGT, RRT or RN Certification
• Has successfully passed the RPSGT exam
• BLS within 30 days of hire

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
