This is a great opportunity to join our experienced and highly skilled team who support our growing open-heart program. We are seeking candidates with a critical care background. Schedule is based on 12-hour shifts with an every third weekend rotation.

The registered professional nurse assumes accountability for the nursing care of a patient. The nurse performs the primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of his/her patients.

Required:

• Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois.
• BSN degree within 3 years of hire.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Must be competent in basic nursing and computer skills.
• Previous ICU or Cardiovascular ICU experience.

Preferred:

• BSN is preferred.
