Job Description
The Outcomes Coordinator, RN reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This quality-driven role would have a working relationship with our management, Professional Development, and quality departments. Not only would this individual work on data collection and entry but would also be a driver of the quality initiatives within the unit.
Some duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Medisolv Data Entry
- Dashboard Collaboration
- Outcomes Leader/NLMC Projects
- Process Metrics - for all perinatal core measures
- Redcap Data Entry
- Morbidity & Mortality Chart Abstraction for SMM
- Meeting - Perinatal Oversight Committee
- Lactation Program data (inpatient/outpatient)
- Perinatal Site Visit – quality outcomes
- APORS – support birth registrar
- Birth statistics – support birth registrar
- E-Perinet Entry
- Promoting Vaginal Birth ILPQC initiative
- Data support for system projects (i.e. light study)
- QIPS – occasional project report out
- Quality Presentations
- Blue Distinction survey
- Leapfrog survey
- US News World Report survey
- New ILPQC Initiatives - Birth Equity
- Regional Perinatal Quality Collaborative meetings
Job Requirements
- Some flexibility with schedule as this role is currently part-time. System or state meetings may vary with meeting dates/times.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations and educational materials
- Understanding of perinatal quality metrics
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- RN License
- Two to five years of experience with the study of patient populations and working with care providers
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Proficient with MS Office Products, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Previous leadership experience
- Master's degree in nursing or related field
- Obstetrics experience
- Interest in data collection and quality initiatives
