Job Description

The IS Program Lead reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

 

Responsible for planning and performance of technical and non-technical initiative in assigned Information Services program portfolio. Assist with support of portfolio within IS group and with organizational development, including IS hospital transitions and enhancements of program. Establish and execute effective communication. Support development of senior level presentation related to IS initiatives. Participates in capital and routine budget planning. Lead project team with successful implementation outcomes and liaise between team and supported departments. Provide guidance to execute within program portfolio. Technology: EMR applications, EPIC: module implementation; professional and hospital billing implementation, automation of EPIC Workflows; upgrade release cycles; SQL Queries.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in healthcare IS.  5 years experience with EMR applications, Epic module implementation; 1 year experience leading a project team of 2+ through successful implementation. Experience must include: providing senior level presentations on IS initiatives; EPIC: professional and hospital billing implementation; automation of Epic Workflows; IS hospital transition; upgrade release cycles. Background check and drug test required. Travel required to regional sites and some outside standard work hours for pre-planned Release/Go-Lives required.
