A clinically competent Perioperative Care Technician who works under the supervision of the RN in delivering skilled and effective perioperative care and all related functions. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. Utilizes initiative, strives to maintain steady level of productivity. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

Minimum Qualifications: - Knowledge of medical terminology - Basic computer knowledge - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - Knowledge of cleaning procedures preferred - Training to perform EKG preferred Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications: CERT BLS
