Job Description

Assists the provider(s) in conducting patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and processes specimens for testing and records results in the patients record. Performs venipuncture and skin punctures following aseptic technique and in accordance with physician orders. Duties may vary by assigned practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - 1 of more years of previous Medical Office Assistant experience required - Phlebotomy experience required - Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent or certificate Licensure and Certifications: Preferred: Certified Medical Office Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician or Phlebotomy Technician
