POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the performance and oversight of the Master Production Schedule for an OEM Manufacturer. Up to 500 items scheduled and master schedule lines up to 2000 at any given time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development of the MPS annual budget and periodic reporting
Annual and periodic Capacity Requirement Planning for the facility
Master schedule development and implementation on a daily, weekly monthly basis
Revenue stream prediction and reporting for the facility – weekly, monthly and annually
Engineering change implementation into manufacturing
Capacity rescheduling as required
Customer date change requests
Daily action message resolution
Coordination of outsource strategies to smooth capacity constrained work centers
Coordination of outsource on Master Manufactured strategy parts

MUST HAVE:

BS/BA in Business or related field APICS certification a strong plus
5+ Years in a large manufacturing environment, preferably in a OEM machining manufacturing environment
JIT scheduling and manufacturing experience in a very fast paced facility
Knowledge of JD Edwards/PS tools
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment where no two parts are typically the same
Strong analytical skills
