Fellows are individuals who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, judgment, and competence in their technical discipline. Pratt & Whitney and industry peers recognize them as valuable contributors and experts in their fields. As mentors, teachers, and leaders, they are given the opportunity to directly affect the technical excellence of Pratt & Whitney''''s products, processes, and people. 

The Fellows Program offers a leadership career path option to those individuals who want to remain and develop in a specialized technical discipline. The program recognizes the full range of key technical contributors in breadth and technical depth of expertise. 

Fellows serve on industry committees and consortiums, participate in government and university research, and assume the lead in presenting technical papers, and participating in technical conferences. Fellows are stewards of technical problem identification and leaders of problem-solving strategies. 

The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic team environment responsible for creating and implementing a 5 year coatings technology strategy, developing new coating technologies, solving processing problems in Operations, Aftermarket, and the Supply Base, developing standard work and training curriculum for coatings engineers, and driving producibility improvements. Very strong analytical skills and coatings process knowledge are needed to perform the job duties.

MUST:

1. Minimum of a masters degree in Engineering.

2. Doctorate preferred

3. Minimum of 10 years experience in coating processing.

4. Must be able to mentor others, effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
