North Shore Health is a 16 bed critical care hospital with a 37 bed long term care facility attached.

North Shore Health is seeking applicants for the Health Information Representative. The Health Information Representative will provide essential support to the Health Information Department by ensuring the accurate maintenance and protection of patient records. Assist the Director of Health Information with key administrative functions including charge capture, claims processing, and managing denials. Support Director of Health Information with maintenance of regulatory compliance, preparing required reporting, and facilitating physician-credentialing processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Three (3) years in hospital or healthcare related organization; or other equivalent experience and knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Coding Associate (CCA) or related Health Information Certification/Degree
