Job Description

North 40 Outfitters is looking for a Web Operations Specialist to join our team. As our Web Operations Specialist you will be responsible for assisting the website team, customer support team, and ecommerce team with standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, order routing and fulfillment, shipping, and training. Your daily tasks will also include reconciling ecommerce transactions, monitoring inventory, and ensuring orders are moving quickly and efficiently from our store locations. You will also provide weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports regarding ecommerce orders, traffic, revenue, and more. Our Web Operations Specialist also plays an active role in ecommerce-related projects, essential to the growth of ecommerce in our company.  

Qualifications

 

  • Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  •  Daily reconciliation of ecommerce transactions
  •  Research and correct any mismatched transactions
  •  Provide a monthly report of fixed transactions and open orders to the CFO
  • Supervise and Train Web Leads
  • Work collaboratively with the store management teams to ensure each store location has a web lead and backup team that are well-trained and efficient
  • Conduct frequent check-ins and re-trainings with the web leads and store teams
  • Host monthly meeting with all web leads to announce updates, provide training, address issues, etc.
  • Manage Inventory
  • Review daily inventory reports – research and correct as needed
  • Monitor and Drive Web Ops Performance
  • Oversee shipping quotes and revenues as well as shipping costs and expenses.
  • Monitor costs and supplies of shipping materials.
  • Work with Ecomm Manager to monitor and maintain desired margins for ecommerce store.

  • General Knowledge: Equipment—Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook), POS, OMS, Magento, PayPal
