Job Description

Norco, Inc. is currently offering a signing bonus of $1,500 for this position.  Details of the signing bonus can be discussed during the interview. (Applies to full-time direct new hires only)

Norco is currently seeking friendly, hard-working individuals to join our Medical Customer Service- Central Support Pre-Qualification Team. This team is responsible for the patient’s first experience with Norco regarding their new prescriptions. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining and entering patient profile information, communicating with patients and referral sources to ensure complete and accurate account details, and initiating customer contact. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicate with customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions
  • Keep records of customer conversations in Norco's electronic system in a comprehensible way
  • Meet personal qualitative and quantitative targets
  • In-depth knowledge of products, placements, availability, price and use
  • Educate patients/clients on medical products and services
  • Route patient information to appropriate personnel/departments as necessary to order, deliver, and bill medical products and services
  • Process customer orders and accurately input orders into computer systems
  • Arrange necessary referral to community agencies or for those traveling, to assist in continuity of care
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • Ability to answer billing and other customer questions or direct to proper billing personnel
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills 
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • Good typing and 10-key skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to accurately enter data into computers and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
  • Medical background, including Respiratory Therapy and/or Nursing experience, is a plus
