Norco is looking to grow our Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) sales team and we are seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to join us. At Norco, you will have access to our team of administrative and technical support personnel. We are a provider for both Medicare and Medicaid, along with being a provider for most other insurance contracts in the regions we serve. Norco has been a CRT provider for 20+ years, and is a dealer for all major manufacturers.

Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) position. The ATP evaluates clients to determine their rehab/assistive technology needs or seating/mobility needs based on therapist assessment findings and physicians orders. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with patients, therapists, physicians, and referral sources in the field to determine and provide the most appropriate assistive technology and complex rehab technology equipment needs for clients
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings to educate therapists, physicians, funding sources, and the client in regards to available and appropriate equipment and technologies, funding guidelines, and issues
  • Develop new referral sources and clients through cold calling, in-services, and presentations. Maintain current referral sources through continuous marketing, support, client care and education.
  • Ensure evaluations are completed and orders are entered in timely manner. Work with therapists/ doctor offices to ensure proper documentation is completed for each order.
  • Work in a team environment and support staff, including coordinators and technicians.
  • Support industry shows, training seminars, or other local area events as deemed valuable for the specific rehab sales portfolio
  • Attain/exceed annual sales goals and gross margin goals and objectives
  • Consistently review and report on sales calls, sales outcomes, and sales opportunities
  • Maintain industry knowledge including funding trends, products, services and clinical skills.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • Experience in the rehab field, or related home care experience
  • ATP Certification required
  • Seating and Mobility Specialist (SMS) Certification preferred
  • Ride Designs Certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally to a height of 36"
  • Ability to quickly learn about new rehab equipment and assistive technologies
  • Ability to perform thorough and competent seating/mobility, assistive technology, and rehab equipment evaluations
  • Ability to understand proper billing procedures for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessary
