Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Concentrator Check position. The Concentrator Check is responsible for tracking, checking, maintaining, and documenting on Norco's rental oxygen concentrators that are currently rented to customers in an assigned geographical area. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Check all concentrators that are currently rented to customers for oxygen concentration levels as per policy in the Norco Operations Manual
  • Maintain current driver's license
  • Exchange any concentrator that is not performing up to Norco's written specification minimums
  • Performs daily up-keep and scheduled preventative maintenance on company vehicle
  • Completes all required paperwork promptly and accurately, turning in paperwork on a daily basis
  • Assures customer understanding of proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment and re-instructs as needed
  • Checks that patients are using the equipment in the manner that their physician prescribed (i.e proper liter flows, hours per day, etc)
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • Familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations pertaining to oxygen and its delivery
  • Familiar with all Accreditation and OSHA required policies and procedures as they pertain to the position
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (i.e processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, etc)
  • Ability to accurately enter data into computers and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
