Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Director of Digital Operations position. The Director of Digital Operations is responsible for providing leadership and day to day management over the Norco E-Commerce team while ensuring alignment with both Norco's Industrial and Medical Business lines online and digital platforms to meet customer, patient, and market current/futures needs. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Norco IT Manager in addition to all Regional Vice Presidents to maintain alignment of business needs and priorities
  • Develop and deliver a digital operations strategy and aligned IT program that embeds digital thinking, delivery, and support across the organization's functions
  • Execute on identified growth initiatives and goals
  • Develop the culture, capacity, and capability of the organization to truly embrace digital opportunities so that digital thinking and delivery becomes fully embedded
  • Accountable for the effective resource planning, management, reporting, and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements
  • Meet with business units to define new and expected requirements for Norco's platforms
  • Research, evaluate, and propose potential options to Executives for needs
  • Ensure compliance to security policies, procedures, and other systems requirements
  • Coordinate with Norco IT and technical partners to determine scope of work for projects and enhancements
  • Consult on contracts with technical partners to ensure scope/terms are adequately defined and protect Norco's best interests
  • Establish metrics/KPI's that are easy to understand and obtain
  • Work with business units to evaluate existing processes and workflows
  • Build and document new processes and training materials
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • College degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, and/or a marketing related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing an eCommerce team or supporting core eCommerce initiatives
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing digital projects
  • Minimum 2 years experience with project management
  • Ability to manage existing systems and lead the development of new projects from inception through delivery into a production environment
  • Must be able to analyze and understand data relationships and risks across systems
  • An understand of order processing and fulfillment methods
  • Ability to sense the urgency of internal and external feedback and develop appropriate responses/actions
  • Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively articulate digital concepts to executive management and stakeholders
