Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our AR Manager position. The Medical AR Manager is expected to provide key insights and recommendations related to medical billing management for the branches under their supervision. Areas of focus are submission of claims, claim rejection and denial management, root cause analysis of denials and front end errors/bad debt adjustment, and collection of insurance receivables and account adjustments. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Norco leadership to plan and implement strategic initiatives to support the overall operational and financial success of the medical division
  • Ensure ERP systems and other forms of technology are being fully utilized and maximized to drive operational efficiency
  • Evaluate Medical AR performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations within the DME industry
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant insurance coding, reimbursement guidelines, HIPAA rules, and regulations regarding protected health information
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years experience of relevant management experience demonstrating a progression of growth in scope and responsibility
  • Knowledge of DME industry legal rules and guidelines
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related industry to Norco or 4+ years of work experience in DME billing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (i.e. processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, etc.)
