Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Support Coordinator to join the team. In this role, you will combine your technical knowledge and coordination skills with a strong focus on maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for employees, visitors & suppliers. As the first point of contact for all hard- & soft facility services at our Global Supply Chain location in the Breda area, you will identify and resolve issues where possible, coordinate with suppliers when needed and work closely with the Manager Facilities & EHSS to determine the best course of action. In addition you will support maintenance activities, small projects, visitors, access badges, meetings and various general facility-related tasks. You will be part of the Netherlands Facilities team and report directly to the Manager Facilities & EHSS.

Responsibilities (General, hard- & soft services)

  • Identify bottlenecks, communicate issues and proactively contribute to solutions;
  • Resolve problems whenever possible and escalate issues when required;
  • Inform, schedule & coordinate suppliers;
  • Receive and accompany internal and external visitors;
  • Support purchasing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks;
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) input for projects;
  • Ensure that temporary and personal access badges are issued as required;
  • Maintain accurate documentation of materials and equipment in the relevant systems;
  • Stay up to date with applicable regulations & requirements;
  • Ensure that the asset register is maintained in accordance with NEN 2767;
  • A general understanding of building services, including:
    • B – Building/Construction (Bouwkundig)
    • W – Mechanical (Werktuigbouwkundig)
    • E – Electrical (Elektrotechnisch)
    • T – Transport installations (Transportinstallaties)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and contact suppliers for follow-up and resolution;
  • Coordinate technical building maintenance & repairs;
  • Execution of- & coordinate (small) facility projects.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and suppliers;
  • Organize & participate in operational meetings with in-house suppliers;
  • Monitor the overall condition and functionality of the facilities;
  • Perform a variety of general handyman and facility-related tasks;
  • Arrange meeting room setups as required.
  • Conduct weekly hospitality/facility/EHSS rounds.

Qualifications

  • Service and customer-friendly working attitude 
  • Open/ representative appearance ;
  • Good communication skills; 
  • Flexible, hands-on with an eyer for detail;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language (verbal & written).

Your Background

  • Completed training/ education in a technical or facilities direction; 
  • General technical knowledge;
  • Knowledge of and experience with light administrative activities; 
  • Experience within the facility management-working field; 
  • IT Literate (MS Office); 
  • VCA-VOL certified;
  • In possession of or prepared to follow a BHV course.
