Job Description
Purpose of the role
As a Sales Manager your responsibility is to manage & support the Spanish Sales team in presenting the line of products & services to dentists, implantology professionals and dental surgeons in Spain. Ultimately your responsibility is commercial focused; maintaining and growing of current accounts and relationship management combined with developing new business in the country. The Sales Manager will also act as an ambassador for the company, present new products and be a point of reference for all partners.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Built, lead, support and manage the sales team;
- Achieve revenue targets and market growth;
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts; oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, dental clinics, DSOs (Dental Service Organizations) and distributors;
- Conduct field visits and support sales team in customer meetings, product presentations and clinical discussions;
- Monitor market trends, identify future projects, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities;
- Develop sales activity plans to optimize sales activities and achieve revenue targets and market growths;
- Train and mentor sales reps on clinical knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement;
- Provide timely accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports to senior leadership;
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and industry events.
Qualifications
The new Sales Manager
Will bring deep expertise in dental implantology, a robust network within the dental industry and has a proven track record in exceeding sales targets. A commercial Leader with a “hands-on” mentality and excellent interpersonal skills both in Spanish & English. A person with interest in the dental market, good technical understanding and the ability to bring both the sales & the sales team in the country to a higher level.
But if you really want to succeed in this role, you also need the following;
- Bachelor degree preferably in Business, Life Sciences or related field;
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in the dental implants industry with at least 3 years in a Leadership role;
- Deep understanding in implant systems, prosthetic and digital workflows and clinical applications;
- Proven track record in sales in a B2B environment;
- Strong network of dental professionals and KOL’s’;
- Excellent leadership, presentation & communication skills;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Proven ability to manage large territories and deliver consistent revenue growth;
- Comfortable with CRM tools, data analysis & sales performance metrics;
- Good team player, positive attitude, organized & result driven;
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%);
- Languages: Spanish & English.
