Job Description

The Supply Chain Coordination Analyst is primarily responsible for analyzing and communicating on DC demand requirements and priorities to the EU plants, Intercompany Suppliers and Purchasing (& 3rd Party Suppliers). He or she will also be responsible for coordination of demand and supply information upstream and downstream between the EU plants, intercompany suppliers, Purchasing and the Global Customer Service Team at the DC. He/She will also ensure monitoring performance metrics and generate overall supply projections of the EU plants, third party and intercompany suppliers, with a focus on delivery performance metrics.

The key objective is to integrate Supply Chain requirements into the plants and provide additional value add to the DC in ensuring timely deliveries of products. Another important objective is to drive Operational / Supply Chain improvements across the supply and operations organization.

Job Summary 

  • Responsible for coordination of demand and supply information upstream and downstream, implements and maintains a (back)order priority platform for each EU plant and all intercompany suppliers as well as one for all combined 3rd party suppliers to ensure supply information and demand visibility is flowing through the organization (i.e. generates weekly Supply Coordination & Communication Platform and posts this to the various intranet websites, collects, distributes and monitors supply information);
  • Responsible for Intercompany Purchasing - placing orders on a daily basis;
  • Generates weekly Supply Analysis Platform, performs weekly full scope ATP/Supply Analysis and is responsible to get qualitative input from all the EU plants on production delays, Purchasing on supplier issues, and the planning organization as well as Global Customer Operations on delays from intercompany suppliers;
  • Actively participate in cross department initiatives;
  • Updates, monitors and reports a weekly/monthly supplier performance deck including metrics on key performance indicators such as supplier on time delivery and schedule attainment;
  • Will ensure the metrics are capable of measuring deliveries in a format consistent with end customer delivery and are in line with the Supplier Service Level Agreements;
  • •    Take ownership and maintenance of MRP and sourcing related master data;
  • •    Responsible to lead, support and facilitate Supply Chain and Purchasing process analysis and improvement projects.
     

Qualifications

Profile of suitable candidate
Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor- or Master degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management;
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP AND/OR Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a plus.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 year relevant working experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations Management;
  • Proven planning and analytical skills (relevant to Supply Chain Planning/Mgt, Demand Planning & Forecasting and Capacity/MPS/Production Planning) ;
  • Experience in working for multinational preferably within Healthcare industry and/or Automotive in regards to culture, multi-layer matrix organizations and workings of a global supply chain;
  • Proven Project Management experience;
  • Understanding of MDR/ISO/FDA Regulations a plus.

Other experience:

  • Effective communication and partnering skills;
  • Experience in healthcare industry is a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM & PP), support tools (Every Angle, SAP BW and SAP IBP) as well as MS applications;
  • Ability to travel within EU or to US as needed.
