Ready to blast Nine's biggest breakfast TV show content across the digital universe?
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the iconic Today Show.
As our new Multimedia Producer for the show, you'll ignite audience engagement and supercharge our multi-platform strategy, ensuring our content is everywhere fans are.

Got an eagle eye for detail, experience making viral content, can write captions that grab attention, and a whiz with the Adobe Creative suite? 

We’re looking for someone who can create social and video content that connects with our growing digital-native audience, as well as our traditional viewers in Australia and across the globe.

This role will be based in Today’s Sydney studio where the magic of live TV happens, so if you have experience working in those environments and collaborating with talent, please let us know. The job requires 5am starts, with some flexibility once the programmes are off air. 

Day to day you will:

  • Produce original short, mid and long form digital projects
  • Produce, edit and distribute video content across all relevant digital platforms
  • Executing tone of voice, frequency of communication and moderation
  • Work closely with the production team, on and off air, in the creation and publication of relevant, original, shareable and high-quality content
  • Innovate storytelling to engage mobile-native audiences
  • Understand the role of analytics, and use data to inform editorial decisions

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Prior experience in entertainment or broadcast TV social and digital content production
  • Strong grasp of content distribution strategies
  • Proven experience producing and editing video content
  • Deep understanding of vertical video formats (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
  • Strong understanding of news.
  • Prior experience working with high-profile talent is a plus
  • Practical experience with social media platforms for large brands is a plus
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to tell stories across multiple formats, thinking innovatively for new audiences
  • Strong understanding of YouTube functionality.
  • A hunger and drive to produce content in a fast-paced, live TV environment
