Job Description
We are embarking on a HR system implementation across Nine and searching for a Senior Workday Compensation Lead to work closely within our Technology team to deliver a series of initiatives that will be critical to set this program up for success.
Day to day you will:
Conduct business analysis and data gathering on current and future compensation plans and assignments and align this to the Workday methodology, concepts and business processes
Work with business owners and stakeholders to gather business requirements and lead Compensation design decisions in the Architect phase including design workbooks
Provide recommendations on best practice and market conditions
Assist in test case creation and full testing phase
Support HCM requirements when needed
Gather business reporting requirements and lead Reporting capabilities including Custom Report creation in Workday including Security assignments
Provide the Project Manager/Program Director with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status relevant to the Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules
Have a high-level understanding of Annual Remuneration Review process and ability to apply this in the Workday solution
Work collaboratively with the People & Culture, Change Management, Data, Integrations and Functional Leads per module
Work collaboratively with all Business units to understand and document their current state HR processes and be able to clearly capture varying requirements and needs across the BUs
Engage with stakeholders at different levels, across various business units to gain business knowledge and translate this into key deliverables
Support future state and internal training initiatives
Support the project team and business, building a trust relationship with ability to influence
Qualifications
To succeed in this role you will have proven experience in working on system design and Workday implementation projects in large, complex organisations. It is essential that you are a driven individual with a desire to deliver exceptional business outcomes. You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and have excellent communication, influencing and conflict resolution skills. You will be flexible in your approach to work and adaptable to the different working styles of different parts of the Business.
Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years work experience in the Workday eco-system using Workday
3+ end to end Workday implementations, leading Workday Compensation (preferred)
2+ end to end Workday implementations, leading Workday Advanced Compensation (advantageous)
Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation certified (preferred)
Experience on large scale, complex system and organisational design using Workday
Strong understanding of relationships and security configuration between Core HCM, other Workday modules, Security and Reporting
Preferred experience with the HR functional and HR processes with leading best practice
Experience in all project phases, from Design through to Deploy
Ability to guide decision making, gather requirements and ownership on testing assigned functional modules
Ability to effectively communicate functional and non-functional requirements to cross-functional agile squads using user stories and supporting documentation such as ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process models, use cases and user journey maps
Experience in facilitating a variety of people with experience in delivering workshops, storytelling, presenting to senior business stakeholders and dealing with conflicting requirements and needs
Successful at overcoming conflict and resistance to foster effective working relationships
Experience in ensuring the accuracy of requirements and processes provided by the business, and are able to identify and resolve gaps
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
You have knowledge of tenant configuration, system architecture and third party integrations (payroll)
Past experience working in the Australian broadcast TV industry would be advantageous
