Nine’s Group Audience Insights team, is built to deliver a world-class audience insights capability to generate actionable insights with which to drive successful marketing, product and content development across the full publishing, broadcast, audio, client growth and product portfolio. 

Group Audience Insights is a full service in-house research team responsible for crafting and delivering actionable insights across Digital and Audio Product, Editorial/Programming and Marketing / Subs & Growth teams; and Client Growth insights being Trade Marketing, Powered (Strategy) and Sales.

Job Description

Your new opportunity at Nine.

The Insights Community Manager is a newly developed junior-mid level role in Nine’s Group Audience Insights team.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the day-to-day management and contributing to the facilitation of our online insights community.
  • Generate audience insight and understanding to contribute to stakeholder decision-making and fuel audience growth for Nine.
  • Manage this new community in which your contribution will be vital to shaping and building up our capabilities in this area and adding huge value across the Nine business. 
  • Drive engagement in an online space
  • Have a key focus on setting community policies and guidelines
  • Regularly engage with different customer groups
  • Maintaining a consistent and authentic brand image
  • Taking feedback, moderating activities and finding new ways to engage with members.

The Insights Community Specialist role presents a unique opportunity to grow your experience working across Australia’s leading multi-platform media network, engaging audiences across television, catch-up TV, websites, newspapers, magazines and radio.  Brands we hope you are familiar with! 

Qualifications

In order to succeed, you will ideally have:

  • Passion for building communities
  • Experience in understanding an audience, their needs and motivations, and delivering value through engaging and delightful experiences and being a creative thinker. 
  • You’re not afraid to come up with ideas and try new ways of engaging an audience to generate insight
  • You want to gain exposure to behavioural, attitudinal and UX research and the product design process

Whilst this role is currently a 6 month contract role, there is scope to potentially extend this into a permanent role.
