Job Description

Your new opportunity at Nine.

The role of the Programmatic Trading team is to operationalise Nine’s programmatic strategy across all advertising platforms and formats. Working alongside Sales and Operations, the team ensures that revenue and fill are maximised across the channel.

As an analyst, you will work with the Director of Programmatic Trading to execute Nine Digital’s Programmatic trading across display, mobile, video and native.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maximising revenue generated via Nine’s programmatic channel through yield and fill rate optimisation
  • Create and troubleshoot deal IDs and delivery for a range of Nine’s programmatic clients across all advertising channels
  • Reporting and analysis on programmatic team’s KPI’s and revenue results for the wider business, e.g. management, sales, finance
  • Analyse delivery and bid data to identify buying strategy recommendations for Nine’s programmatic clients
  • Work alongside Sales to provide analysis and surface insights for quarterly business reviews with Nine’s programmatic clients
  • Develop a deep understanding of Nine’s partnered SSP platforms, associated third-party vendors and the programmatic landscape generally
  • Regularly monitor, provide reporting and insights into the health and performance of Nine’s programmatic technology stack
  • Other duties as reasonably required

Ideally, you will have:

  • A graduate background or have a year in agency experience or analytical experience.
  • The ability to analyse large data sets, build models, interpret findings and present recommendations
  • Be a structured thinker with a very strong analytical ability
  • A creative problem solver and fast learner
  • A genuine passion for digital advertising with a thirst to learn and improve
  • Highly proficient at Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • A degree qualified in a numeric discipline in preferred
