Job Description

Your new opportunity at Nine.

As the Material Coordinator within the Sydney Traffic Team, you will be managing the allocation and management of a key numbers of our clients & agencies to the Commercial Schedule for telecast as per requirements agreed between the Sydney Sales Team, Clients & Agencies and in line with Network Traffic policies.

Day to day you will:

  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers and clients

  • Liaising with Integration and 9Powered to ensure internal campaigns are running smoothly

  • Working closely with sales and agencies regarding campaign bookings, revisions and cancellations

  • Liaising with creative agencies regarding dispatch, CAD approvals and technical requirements

  • Managing commercial enquiries/complaints

  • Ensuring all TVC’s across the network are ready for play out after log integration

  • Producing transfer list of all TVC’s being delivered to the network daily

  • Identifying issues with TVC’s (Expiry dates, campaign start & end dates that have been advised incorrectly by the agency or creative and resolving issues before TX)

  • Manage legal issues and coordinate same day changes with on air

  • Checking commercial placement to ensure it meets classification requirements set out in the ABA Code of Practice

  • Ensuring commercials are delivered to the station on time via Adstream, Peach or internal feed

  • Liaising with On Air Tapes and Presentation, problem solving and the resolution of any technical problems with commercial delivery

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • High degree of accuracy

  • Adherence to schedules and deadlines

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast pace/constantly changing environment

  • Highly motivated professional team member who can respond to challenges with a positive attitude 

  • Microsoft Office and Google Workspace profficien


  • Previous experience working in a Traffic Department is preferred

  • Any Diplomas/Degrees related to Media or Management

  • Methodical troubleshooter

  • Logical thinker with the ability to clearly communicate ideas
