Job Description

Design, develop and execute national and local radio marketing campaigns, strategies and tactics and ensure they are delivered on-time, on-budget and across the planned channels with maximum results.

The role is responsible in helping achieve the desired radio ratings, business, program and marketing objectives.

Having a deep understanding of the competitive landscape of Radio and Media, managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure best results.

Some of the responsibilities of this role are: 

  • Develop, manage and design marketing campaigns and strategies, leveraging Nine’s house media, to deliver on key campaign objectives including audience and reach across all elements of the marketing mix.
  • Build a deep understanding of Radio brands and develop marketing tactics to drive brand affinity, engagement, efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop proactive marketing ideas and tactics in conjunction with Content Managers and programs in line with our overall strategy

  • Manage the implementation of survey tactics, program promotions, marketing events, talent, budgets, job sheets, creative briefs, prizes, post campaign reporting.

  • Analyse market analysis and consumer insights and trends to gain an intricate understanding of the Radio audiences in all demographics nationally and monitor changes to build and adapt marketing plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years relevant radio or marketing experience
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Media, Marketing or related discipline
  • Experience in devising, developing and implementing consumer marketing campaigns and communications
  • Strong communication and copy writing skills
  • Experience in managing external agencies
  • Experience in analysing data and trends to develop actionable insights
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, web analytic tools and marketing campaign platforms
  • Must hold a valid drivers license

Please note, this is a maternity cover contract commencing 24th May for 12 months.
