Powered Studios is Nine's commercial studio with disciplines across ideation, design, creative technology, written and video content production, distribution and amplification, and ultimately, creative solutions for clients.

Powered is responsible for the commercialisation of Nine’s content cross platform and creating and delivering partnerships for brands. Within Powered we have the following teams: Strategy, Insights + Effectiveness, Content Partnerships, Content Strategy + Distribution, Commercial Production and Client Experience.

Job Description

The Group Creative Solutions Manager, is a newly created, highly collaborative, role that sits within the Creative Solutions team that deliver market leading brief responses to Nine’s clients. The role will work with the team on delivering commercial, content-led solutions across the relevant Nine TV, radio, digital and print verticals. 

Responsibilities are (but not limited to) 
Brief response:

  • Successfully manage deck process from end to end on designated brief responses
  • Lead brief response brainstorm on designated briefs, in conjunction with Project Manager
  • Ensure holistic solution with clear “red thread” throughout response
  • Complete and own revised “Powered Approach” for all relevant briefs
  • Work with broader Powered team on delivering a cohesive solution across all assets, including the introduction of Radio and improvements around Nine’s data offering
  • Work with Channel Planner on brief response to deliver why Nine, why those assets within Nine, and how they deliver against the client’s objectives

Collaboration:

  • Engage Strategy team as required to help with more challenging briefs
  • Bring in Director of Strategic Creative as required to help crack ideation / creative territories
  • Work closely with Content Partnerships teams to ensure across all of Nine’s formats and related commercial opportunities
  • Work closely with Group Business Directors and Channel Planner to devise budget splits within cross platform brief responses
  • Work with strategy, data and research teams on understanding audiences / product data and insights

Qualifications

  • 6+ years relevant media experience
  • Extensive cross platform experience
  • Ability to analyse client needs and use them to create an effective creatively led solution
  • A deep understanding of the Nine suite of products and its audience
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, with the capability to influence, negotiate and mediate to reach an optimum outcome for all parties
  • A solutions-focused team player who is flexible and adaptable in responding to the needs of a project

Proven experience in the following:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with strength in planning, time-management and follow-through
  • Delivering to strict deadlines and committed to exceeding expectations
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously and thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Stakeholder management including excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Working directly with multiple stakeholders across varying areas of business and levels of seniority
