Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to support the Tech & Durables (T&D) Business within NielsenIQ’s production environment. The candidate will be expected to quickly learn and develop a strong understanding of T&D processes, data flows, and business requirements.

The role involves managing retailer/vendor data acquisition, validation, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality data and insights. Working closely with Retail Services, Retailers, Transformation Teams, Output Teams, and country stakeholders, the individual will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

A key focus of the role will be to identify process simplification opportunities and support the successful transition of the T&D business into OGRDS, ensuring efficient, standardized, and scalable operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive resolution of technical and process issues while ensuring adoption of new tools and enhancements.
  • Conduct RCA, implement corrective actions, and effectively manage stakeholder communications.
  • Provide timely project updates and proactively address client queries and concerns.
  • Document, monitor, and continuously improve processes, controls, and exception management.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using Excel Macros, ML, and GenAI.
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality data setup and maintenance across multiple markets.
  • Execute and support end-to-end data processing and project delivery activities.
  • Investigate data quality issues and collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner with Retailers, Country Teams, Transformation Teams, and Output Teams to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Reference Data processes and provide guidance to global teams.
  • Track and report KPIs related to delivery performance, data quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and work effectively in a virtual, multicultural environment.
  • Leverage Generative AI (GenAI) to drive innovation, process simplification, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Identify emerging AI trends and contribute to the development of long-term GenAI strategies aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with NielsenIQ systems, operational processes, and data management.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to communicate and simplify technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in process improvement, automation, and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant advanced qualification preferred.
  • Exposure to ML, AI/GenAI, automation technologies, and large-scale datasets.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional environments.
