Job Description
- Support the Pacific Retail Sales team across Australia and New Zealand, covering NIQ's Retail, FMCG, and Tech & Durables solutions.
- Partner with senior sales professionals to identify, develop, and execute commercial opportunities across existing and prospective client accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail clients by understanding their business priorities, growth objectives, and market challenges.
- Engage in consultative sales conversations, leveraging NIQ data, insights, and analytics to develop tailored client solutions.
- Contribute to revenue growth through account development activities, pipeline generation, and opportunity management.
- Support new business acquisition efforts through market research, prospecting, lead generation, and client outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Customer Success, and Client Delivery, to ensure successful solution implementation and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics to identify potential growth opportunities for clients and NIQ.
- Maintain accurate sales records, opportunity tracking, and pipeline updates within CRM systems.
- Achieve individual and team commercial objectives while continuously developing consultative selling and account management capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong curiosity and interest in consumer insights, retail markets, and data-driven decision making.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging clients and internal teams.
- Collaborative approach with a willingness to learn, seek feedback, and contribute to team success.
- Self-motivated and commercially minded, with an interest in developing a career in consultative B2B sales.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
- Previous experience in sales, account management, analytics, consulting, market research, pricing, customer success, or other client-facing functions is advantageous, but not essential.
