We are looking for a new member for our Sales team in The Netherlands. Are you passionate to sell solutions? Are you capable to ask the right questions to expose deeper customer needs? In this position you are responsible for maintaining and further developing a close relationship with key manufacturers in the FMCG sector. You will increase wallet share within existing accounts, and develop relationships with assigned accounts to retain and renew business.

The starting point for effective client engagement is always their Key Business Questions (KBQ). You will be a trusted strategic partner by listening actively and translating clients KBQ’s into the NIQ portfolio. You will help your key accounts by utilizing a variety of NIQ solutions targeted at improving marketing, trade marketing and revenue growth management. You will also provide insights into markets, channels, competitors, consumer segmentation and behavior. You will work in a cross- functional team with enthusiastic colleagues. You will report to the Commercial Sales Netherlands.

Missions

Portfolio & Account Management

· Own and grow a defined portfolio of accounts or sub-segments within larger strategic accounts, with end-to-end accountability for revenue, pipeline, and renewals.

· Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer priorities and business outcomes.

· Prepare account plans, Quarterly Business Review materials, and client-facing documentation.

· Manage client interactions independently.

Relationship Management

· Serve as the primary relationship owner for allocated accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth while building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders.

· Conduct discovery, stakeholder mapping, and account research to identify early-stage expansion opportunities.

Growth, Renewals & Sales Execution

· Expand wallet share within existing accounts by identifying cross-sell opportunities and aligning client needs with relevant solutions across the portfolio.

· Own and execute sales opportunities end to end.

· Support renewal preparation and execution, including contract updates, client communications, and internal coordination.

· Lead negotiations with autonomy.

Pipeline & Forecasting

· Maintain a healthy and well-qualified pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual targets.

· Deliver timely and accurate revenue forecasts using CRM tools and sales analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Coordinate delivery of agreed account outcomes and assist with issue resolution.

· Coordinate with Product, Analytics, Operations, and Delivery teams.

 

Your Profile

Experience Required

· HBO/WO level and 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales and/or FMCG, ideally market research, consumer insights or trade marketing.

· Good relationship-building skills focused on long-term value creation and customer success.

· Experience identifying opportunities within existing accounts.

· Stakeholder mapping and account intelligence gathering experience.

· Experience with early-stage solution scoping and needs assessments.

· Experience in proposal development.

· Excellent written and spoken English + Dutch. 

· Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs across Product, Analytics, and Delivery teams.

· Experience running structured client calls and follow-up discussions.

· Strong account planning fundamentals and CRM discipline.

What we offer

  • From 41 900 euros to 63 700 euros gross per year , including holiday allowance and the 13th monthly payment. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
