About this Job
As a member of the US NielsenIQ Product Insights team, you will lead strategic sales initiatives across diverse client verticals. Your responsibilities will include renewing existing contracts and driving new business by cultivating strong client relationships. Success in this role requires a blend of proactive business development (hunter) and relationship nurturing (farmer) to expand the reach of our Product Insights solutions within your assigned accounts. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in shaping future offerings by contributing innovative product ideas and delivering valuable customer feedback to our product management team.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed revenue target.
- Manage sales pipeline development and reporting with excellence, including financial forecasting.
- Be able to manage multiple activities/sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Respond to all client emails with urgency, no more than 24 hours
- Support NPI US as a destination team within the broader NIQ organization. Contribute to the team camaraderie and cross collaboration.
- Execute proactive sales initiatives: attend 1-5 tradeshows, perform cold-call lead generation such as conducting proactive outreach campaigns to identify potential clients, use the LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or Zoom info to search for expanded outreach opportunities
- Use a consultative selling approach to identify client business needs, qualify, probe, scope and sell in NielsenIQ services.
- Execute end-to-end sales process - feasibility analysis, pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals, and closing the sale.
- Develop and manage relationships with unique clients, prospects, and their AD partners.
- Build and maintain trust in your client relationships by promptly answering questions regarding data quality, service offering and product delivery.
- Be proficient in NielsenIQ services, systems, and software tools.
- Lead larger sales organization in territory and account management activities.
- Develop strategies to win based on your unique assigned client vertical(s)
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal product development, thought leadership, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams.
- Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners.

Are you a passionate, savvy salesperson, with a deep sense of urgency and accountability to deliver against financial targets? Can you effectively tell a story that captures the audience, no matter what level, and bring them along your journey? Are you able to work collaboratively, as part of a remote team within a dynamic and challenging environment while maintaining high standards? Do you have experience in working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution?
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years consultative sales experience within the CPG and/or Retail Industry
- Previous experience with NIQ's Products Insights solution, preferred
- Ability to translate data knowledge into tactical and strategic solution frameworks; advanced data analytic sales preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $117,500 - $145,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
