Authoring Executive - Market Research (Survey experience is preferred)

Job Description

As an Authoring Executive, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of surveys to support data collection activities across various projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Acquisition, Operations, Client Service, and Questionnaire Design teams to ensure surveys are accurately configured, tested, and launched within defined timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and author survey links based on questionnaire and project requirements.
  • Create and maintain work orders and survey documentation, ensuring specifications are accurately captured.
  • Review feasibility and questionnaire templates with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing and validation of surveys before deployment.
  • Create, prepare, and upload preloading, planning, and survey access files.
  • Support issue identification, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams until resolution.
  • Develop field briefing and training materials for auditors and field teams.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders throughout the survey lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain internal tracking files, process documentation, SOPs, and project records.
  • Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide operational and back-office support for field data collection activities.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and support new survey developments and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in survey operations, project coordination, data collection, operations, or related functions.
  • Upper-intermediate English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Basic programming knowledge (SQL, JavaScript, Macros, or similar technologies).
  • Basic understanding of testing methodologies and end-to-end validation processes.
  • Experience with survey authoring, survey setup, or questionnaire programming.
  • Understanding of mobile applications, data validation, and backend-to-frontend workflows.
  • Exposure to data collection operations and field support activities.
  • Experience working in multinational or matrix organizations.
  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ processes, RMS ecosystem, CDAR modules, or Data Collection tools will be an added advantage.
