Job Description
NielsenIQ is investing in Gen AI capabilities that help retailers and suppliers move faster from data to decisions. Our Gen AI solutions are designed to make complex analytics easier to access, support guided analysis, accelerate time to insights, and help users identify business opportunities and risks more efficiently. By combining NielsenIQ's data, retail expertise, analytics capabilities, and AI-driven user experiences, we aim to help clients work in a smarter, faster, and more scalable way.
As we are currently developing and expanding Gen AI capabilities across our product portfolio, we are looking for product specialists to join our team.
Key responsibilities
Identify user needs and product features critical to retailer and supplier users.
Define product requirements and development priorities for Engineering teams, in liaison with other product team members. Work closely with Engineering throughout the implementation process to ensure that features are scalable, cost-effective, reliable, and efficient in performance.
Work closely with UX teams to design the best user experience for Gen AI features, aligned with platform guidelines and user workflows. Make sure there is clear documentation, including Figma designs, accompanying your product requirements.
Work with QA teams to support the testing of new features, validate expected user flows, identify edge cases, and ensure high-quality product releases.
Collaborate closely with Product Marketing teams to generate relevant materials for sales, customer success, and customer-facing teams. Support the creation of clear messaging, product explanations, enablement content, and launch materials.
Provide guidance on Gen AI product capabilities, use cases, and analytical value to commercial teams and solution experts. Educate product SMEs in customer success and sales teams and support with product expertise in case of more demanding questions from clients.
Collaborate closely with global, cross-functional teams: Product & Tech, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in Product Management, working closely with Engineering teams.
Experienced in implementing new features and managing product development processes from requirements definition through delivery.
Experience in building Gen AI products - advantage.
Understanding of the retail space, retailer workflows, supplier workflows, and retail analytics - advantage.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Technology and/or product development knowledge. Experience in implementing new features or process improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise manner to a diverse audience.
Super structured thinker, with the ability to break down complex business and user problems into clear product requirements, priorities, and execution plans.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of product management tools: Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
Be a team player, able to work well with different teams in a diverse global network.
