ABOUT THIS JOB
The Media Measurement team is an integral part of GfK/NielsenIQ Group, delivering industry-leading insights on media consumption across Southeast Asia.
We are looking for a highly motivated Manager in Client Service with strong analytical capabilities to support our Radio measurement products and services in Malaysia. This role will work closely with Client Service, Research, Project Management (PM), and Operations (OPS) teams regionally to deliver high-quality insights and client support.
This is an individual contributor role, focused on client engagement, analytical delivery, and insights generation, with no direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager role will focus more on

  • Client satisfaction and relationship Management
  • Team & Internal stakeholders Management
  • Contract Management (CRM and Billing administrative duties)

Client Management & Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Malaysia-based clients through proactive and regular communication
  • Understand client business challenges and translate them into relevant radio/audio measurement insights
  • Initiate discussions with clients to gather feedback, identify needs, and recommend solutions
  • Deliver presentations and reports that clearly communicate insights and business impact
  • Drive overall client satisfaction to achieve high Net Promoter Score (NPS) and contribute to a long-term client retention.
     

Analytics & Insights Delivery:

  • Perform end-to-end analysis of radio audience data, including data preparation, validation, and interpretation
  • Apply statistical techniques such as weighting, projections, and modelling where required
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights tailored to the Malaysia market
  • Support development of dashboards and automated reporting with internal teams
  • Identify trends in radio/audio consumption behaviour and provide forward-looking insights
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all analytical outputs

Quality and Service Assurance:

  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards and client expectations
  • Maintain consistency in methodologies, reporting frameworks, and data outputs
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
  • Together with Senior management, have regular review/revisions of client relationship management with the end goal of improving client satisfaction and stickiness to media research products

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
  • Experience with statistical tools (SPSS preferred; R/Python is an advantage)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in data cleaning, validation, and processing
  • Ability to translate data into compelling insights and stories
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Prior experience in media, radio/audio, or advertising research in Malaysia is an advanta

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in market research agency, media measurement, or data analytics
  • Experience in a client-facing or stakeholder management role preferred
