The CPS Commercial Associate Director will drive revenue growth within the Philippines market, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets aligned with the Operating Plan (OP). The role is responsible for managing, retaining, and expanding a portfolio of key clients in the Philippines, with a strong focus on regaining market share from competitors and strengthening NIQ’s position locally. 

This role also includes leading the commercial execution of CPS new initiatives within the Philippines. Responsibilities include identifying market-relevant growth opportunities, partnering closely with the product leadership team to localize and implement new initiatives effectively, and ensuring strong Go-To-Market (GTM) execution to maximize return on investment. 

Reporting to the Asia CPS Commercial Lead, the role will be a key member of the broader APAC CPS commercial community while working closely with the Philippines in-market CPS commercial leadership. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver client value and business growth. 

Additionally, the role will contribute to strengthening commercial excellence within the Philippines by driving best practice adoption, improving sales effectiveness, and supporting sustainable business growth in the local market. 

Responsibilities: 

Financial Management 

  • Take ownership of achieving the Operating Plan (OP) targets for regional clients and cross-country contracts which including proactively identify revenue gaps and devise plans for closing the gap - ensuring achievement of OP is always top of mind. 

  • Take the lead in orchestrating and delivering proposal for strategic clients and contracts including managing major competitive pitches. This entails lead sales pitching and proposal presentation. 

  • Ensure accurate forecasting of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual OP, in collaboration with in market commercial lead.  Coordinate annual OP setting with realistic yet ambitious target. 

  Client Acquisition 

  • Devise and implement strategies focused on reclaiming market share from competitors.  

  • Actively identify new clients we can target and outlining actions required to acquire the client. Work closely and influence others to secure support and investment as required. 

  • Monitor competitor activity to stay informed on competition landscape. This involves regularly analysing competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing tactics, and marketing campaigns. 

  Business Development 

  • Champion NIQ CPS product and service to both internal and external clients; and make sure they are exposed to our best and latest thinking, and new development in CPS i.e. Panel on Demand 

  • Develop material for the market with strong articulation of NIQ CPS positioning and benefits. 

  • In collaboration with cluster/country commercial lead, encourage and empower local ADs to sell CPS by fostering a collaborative environment with the necessary tools, training, and sales resources. 

  New Initiatives 

  • Actively identify opportunities for new initiatives that can drive CPS's long-term and sustainable growth in the PH by understanding and addressing clients' unmet needs. 

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the commercial aspects of new initiatives, including but not limited to opening new panels, launching new products and services, and coordinating marketing communications and PR effort. 

  • Monitor, review, and ensure revenue target is achieved to maximize return on investment across all new initiatives. Work closely with the Country/Cluster Lead and in market commercial lead to align projections with actual performance.

Relevant client or agency experiences with required skills as follow:   

  • Commercial Leadership: Proven track record in driving revenue growth and developing strategy. 

  • Sales Strategy: Experience in leading competitive pitches and delivering compelling proposals. 

  • Client Management: Extensive experience expanding client portfolio or client acquisition. 

  • Strong Communication Skills: Including presentation skills. 

  • Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead, inspire, and influence a diverse group of stakeholders internally and externally, collaborating effectively across functions and diverse teams. 

  A person in this role should: 

  • Deliver ambitious commercial results in the Philippines market by setting high benchmarks, consistently achieving or exceeding targets, and demonstrating a strong ownership mindset and drive for performance within a competitive and price-sensitive environment. 

  • Establish strong credibility with local clients and internal stakeholders. Externally, be recognized as a trusted advisor who brings tangible commercial value and deep understanding of the Philippines FMCG and retail landscape. Internally, effectively influence and mobilize cross-functional teams (Commercial, Product, Customer Success) to deliver against CPS growth ambitions. 

  • Demonstrate persistence and long-term thinking in a developing market context, balancing short-term revenue delivery with sustainable client growth. Maintain resilience and a positive outlook when navigating slower adoption cycles, budget constraints, or competitive pressures, while staying focused on long-term market development. 

  • Challenge the status quo within the local market, bringing new ideas to improve commercial effectiveness, client engagement, and product adoption. Show adaptability in responding to evolving client needs, traditional trade dynamics, and varying levels of data maturity across Philippines clients. 

  • Exhibit strong curiosity and passion for consumer and shopper insights, with the ability to translate purchase behavior data into actionable recommendations relevant to the Philippines context.
