Job Description
You are a passionate software engineer who knows the ins and outs of software engineering and how it fits the broader SDLC. Modelling the world, thinking in terms of design patterns, object-oriented design, functional programming, test driven development are your second nature. You have participated in the development of several applications from scratch, many are still in production to the delight of their users. You enjoy working in a team of like-minded professionals and are keen to provide feedback on other people’s code as well as act on feedback received on yours. You are used to working in agile teams delivering small, incremental improvements through continuous delivery pipelines. You are proud of the quality, security and robustness of the code you write, and because you write your code with an in-depth understanding of the execution environment, these qualities translate to the systems you implement as well.

You will be a pivotal member of our development team and have the opportunity to lay the technical foundations of the products we are building. You will be working as part of a front-end engineering team.
Work with an Agile team to influence the overall system architecture and performance goals.
Ensure timely delivery of software projects while maintaining the quality.
Ensure high software quality by writing unit and integration tests in TDD approach.
Identify and address application and data issues that affect application integrity.
Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
Suggest initiatives (e.g. training) that improve working efficiency and quality.
Actively contributing in agile practices, such as estimating and planning.
Qualifications
You have…
3+ years in web development using JavaScript (Angular + TypeScript, NodeJs)
Experience with NX monorepos
Experience in building Single Page Applications
Experience in pre-processor languages for CSS (LESS or SASS)
REST, API design
Have automated testing experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
End-to-End testing using Playwright or Cypress
Experience in unit testing and mocking frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, JustMock, Mockito)
Good understanding of version control tools like GitHub/ GitLab/ BitBucket with its configuration and ci/cd pipeline
Good understanding of Design Pattern and object oriented design (SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, Factory pattern)
An open and collaborative mindset both within and outside your team
Good communicator, fluent in English and ability to clearly express oneself
Additional Information
It would be a great addition if you had experience with
Databases, including No-SQL Databases
Good understanding of IT architectures
Experience with enterprise web-applications
Microsoft Azure or similar could platforms
Micro frontend architecture
