Job Description

Primary Responsibility

  1. Be responsible for areas including but not limited to sample selection, data quality control, data validation/simulation and client enquiries in FMCG industry based on data analytical skill and fundamental statistical knowledge.
  2. Implement the projects/tasks on schedule with highly quality
  3. Serves as expertise for operation function, ensure goals assigned are met.
  4. Cooperate with cross team peers under Operation, Data Science and Tech team, identifies the key risks or potential issues for the projects.
  5. Serves as the initiator to solve the issues, prepare the backup plan and monitor it to ensure on time delivery

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Bachelor/Master degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, social science, market research, operation, science, engineering is preferred.
  • 1 years market analytical/modeling/operation experience

Hard Skill and knowledge

  1. Good understanding with a programming language like SQL, Python, R, VBA or SAS and/ or experience in one or more areas in market database setup, data extraction, data cleaning and validation
  2. Familiar with MS office (Excel, PPT)
  3. Language - Fluent written and spoken English.
  4. Good understanding in FMCG market
  5. Good judgment based on market facts and translating statistical concept into data application

Soft Skill

  1. Multi task Management and anti-pressure ability
  2. Strong Analytic skill based on data support and clear logic
  3. Communication – clarify needs, excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present clear messages from complex information/data to all peers internally and externally.
  4. Continuous improvement mindset and proactive attitude
  5. Leadership – a clear understanding and commitment to Nielsen goals and objectives, and the ability to build professional relationships partners and team member. Collaboration and Teamwork.
