Job Description
Role Overview
The Senior Specialist – Quality Audit CPQ is a critical quality governance role responsible for safeguarding catalog accuracy, audit integrity, and client‑perceived quality across complex manual and automated production workflows. This position goes well beyond regular execution‑based auditing and requires independent ownership, advanced analytical judgment, cross‑functional influence, and the ability to resolve high‑impact catalog and Jira‑related issues. The role actively contributes to audit governance improvements, risk mitigation, and operational decision‑making, ensuring quality is embedded upstream rather than corrected downstream.
This role is expected to operate with minimal supervision and act as a trusted quality partner to Operations, Customer Success, and adjacent teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently own and execute end‑to‑end quality audits across catalog data, product features, categorization, imagery, and Jira workflows, spanning both manual and automated production environments.
- Serve as a backup owner for critical/VIP Client ad-hoc requests & Jira administration activities, ensuring continuity and risk coverage during escalations or resource gaps.
- Apply advanced analytical judgment to detect systemic risks, data anomalies, and quality gaps, translating audit findings into actionable insights and improvement recommendations.
- Drive issue investigation and root cause analysis for high‑impact quality failures, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as a quality decision authority within assigned scope, ensuring adherence to audit standards, data governance principles, and client quality expectations.
- Oversee audit execution at a portfolio level, including reviewing, validating, and course‑correcting junior team members’ outputs to ensure consistent quality outcomes.
- Engage proactively with Operations, Customer Success, and other cross‑functional teams to resolve complex data issues, clarify requirements, and unblock workflows affecting delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of audit frameworks, governance models, and quality parameters, strengthening upstream quality controls.
- Maintain comprehensive and audit‑ready documentation of processes, findings, risk areas, and resolutions.
- Support capability building through knowledge sharing, training support, and handling advanced team queries, acting as a point of reference for quality standards.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Catalog Operations, with Quality Control exposure strongly preferred.
- Strong end‑to‑end understanding of Catalog business processes, including product categorization and catalog data logics.
- Strong end‑to‑end understanding of JIRA processes, including New SKU creation, Updates and Error Handling.
- Ability to guide and support junior team members when needed.
