Job Description
The Senior Research Executive will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact retail measurement insights and analysis to FMCG clients in India. This is a client‑facing position within the Customer Success function, requiring close collaboration with Client/Consumer Marketing Insights (CMI), Consulting Leads, and internal analytics teams.
The role demands strong analytical thinking, storytelling with data, and a proactive mindset to translate complex data into actionable business insights that delight customers and enhance decision‑making
Main responsibilities include:
- Own and deliver retail measurement analysis and insights for a defined set of FMCG categories and clients within the Indian market.
- Lead planned and ad‑hoc category reviews and presentations, including: Attending client briefing sessions
- Designing analytical approaches and work plans
- Conducting internal review and alignment checkpoints
- Collaborate closely with Consulting Leads to ensure insights are aligned with client business objectives and strategic narratives.
- Identify and coordinate work allocation with Insight Associates, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency of deliverables.
- Drive and contribute to Thought Leadership outputs for the assigned industry or category cluster.
- Coach and support the development of performance analysis and business issue diagnosis for Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG) clients.
- Partner with Customer Service and Consulting teams to continuously enhance the end‑to‑end client experience in insights delivery.
- Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and initiative in identifying opportunities for deeper analysis and value creation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Preferably a Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience, ideally in market research, analytics, insights, or a related domain.
- Strong understanding of the Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG/FMCG) industry.
- Working knowledge of research methodologies and analytical techniques is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex insights into compelling storytelling.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a client‑centric mindset.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Detail‑oriented, and naturally curious with a passion for insights as well as pro-active in assigned task.
