About this Job

The Market HR Partner for the UK market is an integral part of the HR team for the UK and Ireland cluster. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for a designated set of managers within the business function you partner. You will be responsible for partnering with the wider global and regional HR team and Business leaders in developing and executing a plan for our people initiatives that support the local business objectives and align with our overall HR strategy. Your responsibilities will include a variety of duties, including talent development, employee relations and working closely with associates and managers on engagement and retention, talent and succession planning, compensation review and other fundamental HR processes.

Your Responsibilities:

Within the client group(s) you support, you will:

· Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees, providing timely guidance on employment law, HR policies, processes, and systems.

· Support managers with the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including job offers, probation management, contract changes, promotions, and leaver management (voluntary and involuntary).

· Partner with managers on the resolution of all employee relations issues (e.g. sickness absence, performance issues, disciplinary or grievance cases), escalating to the legal team or senior management where needed.

· Partner closely with our Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive priorities related to compensation, training and development, diversity and inclusion and recruitment.

· Support organizational change activity (e.g. restructures, team moves, role redesign), working with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

· Support the annual performance, incentive planning and compensation review process.

· Ensure legal compliance is met, defining and proposing policies and processes that align with local laws and NIQ values and guidelines.

· Act as a partner and trusted coach, understanding business strategy and how it connects to our talent strategy and priorities.

· Support engagement and retention initiatives.

Your Qualifications

· 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role (e.g. HR Business Partner or HR Advisor/People Officer ready for the next step)

· CIPD qualification preferred

· Confident advising managers on core people processes.

· Strong HR operations experience with excellent attention to detail.

· Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities

· Can-do attitude and collaborative mind set
