APAC Consumer Panel Services (CPS) Leader

  • Full-time

Job Description

The APAC Consumer Panel Services (CPS) Commercial Lead plays a critical role in accelerating CPS growth across the region by driving market expansion, client penetration, and commercial excellence. This role is accountable for shaping and executing the regional CPS commercial strategy and GotoMarket (GTM) plans across diverse APAC markets. This includes setting and delivering ambitious weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Operating Plan (OP) targets at a regional level.

Close collaboration with both regional and inmarket commercial teams, as well as global product and commercial partners, is essential.

About the Role

  • Deliver ambitious regional results by setting high benchmarks and consistently achieving or surpassing them, demonstrating relentless commercial drive and operational rigor.
  • Build strong credibility with senior leaders, regional commercial teams, and clients. Establish a reputation as a trusted advisor who brings strategic value and inspires stakeholders to rally behind the APAC CPS ambition.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement—embracing risks, learning from setbacks, and maintaining resilience through challenges and market dynamics.
  • Challenge the status quo, foster innovation, and cultivate a culture of open-mindedness and creative problem-solving across APAC markets.
  • Exhibit strong curiosity and expertise in purchase behavior, with the ability to transform Consumer and Shopper insights into actionable strategies for clients.

Core Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership & Growth Management

  • Own delivery of the APAC CPS Operating Plan, proactively identifying revenue gaps and driving actions to close them across multiple markets.

  • Lead accurate regional forecasting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and facilitate OP target setting aligned with market potential and strategic ambition.

  • Identify and accelerate new revenue opportunities beyond base solutions, leading the commercial push for advanced CPS offerings, including Panel Surveys and Consumer Analytics Solutions (CAS).

2. Client Acquisition & Market Making

  • Develop and implement regional strategies to expand CPS penetration across priority markets.

  • Identify and target key white-space clients and industries, setting clear acquisition roadmaps with local teams.

  • Lead or oversee high-stakes proposal development, strategic pitches, and contract renewals across the region.

  • Build a strong external presence with senior decision-makers, establishing NIQ as the preferred Consumer Panel partner in APAC.

3. Commercial Strategy & Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Shape, refine, and execute the APAC CPS commercial strategy, ensuring strong market-making activities and scalable sales plans.

  • Partner with country/cluster commercial leads to empower local teams with the right tools, training, and GTM materials to sell CPS effectively.

  • Drive alignment, clarity, and accountability across markets for CPS priorities and execution standards.

4. Client Management & Advisory Excellence

  • Build a personal reputation as a senior advisor who brings meaningful Consumer & Shopper insights and strategic direction to clients.

  • Ensure strong cross-functional communication so that local teams understand and deliver on client expectations consistently.

  • Lead presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions for high-complexity projects when needed, demonstrating subject matter authority.

5. Product, Solutions & Innovation Enablement

  • Champion NIQ’s CPS capabilities, ensuring clients and internal teams stay aligned to the latest thinking, innovations, and product developments such as Panel on Demand.

  • Gather regular market feedback to inform product relevance, enhancement opportunities, and innovation priorities for APAC.
