Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Insights Manager to play a key role in enabling sellers reach new clients, engage with our current clients, and strategise how to market new service and product features.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out plans for insight-led initiatives for our SA&I business. You will analyse complex datasets to uncover consumer insights, develop impactful marketing content and thought leadership materials, and create visually stunning case studies and customised client presentations. As the go-to expert on our content repository, you'll ensure our DACH sales teams have access to the latest, most relevant materials. Your storytelling abilities will produce engaging presentations and tools that help us stay ahead of the competition. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership, uncover new opportunities, move quickly, and has a strong appetite for growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help create insight-led stories that will help the SA&I DACH sales teams engage with both prospects and clients. 
  • Analyse and interpret data to discover consumer insights and provide conclusions and recommendations 
  • Draft insights using SA&I and NielsenIQ data that help support marketing content as appropriate ​ 
  • Provide insights and data to support the creation of SA&I thought leadership 
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets from multiple sources to inform project planning and sales strategies​ 
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative research, trade panel and consumer panel data powered up with data analysis and visualisation tools​ 
  • Create visually appealing case studies to effectively showcase project methodologies, outcomes, and key insights, fostering a comprehensive understanding of client successes and solutions.  
  • Assist in the preparation and customisation of presentations for client meetings, ensuring materials are informative, engaging, and tailored to client needs. 
  • Serve as expert on content available and location of assets + SharePoint keeper of sales material.  
  • Create and/ or adapt existing content based on sales insight, persona and segment.  
  • Use storytelling to create compelling and engaging presentations​ 
  • Research and analyze a variety of market intelligence inputs, including market trends, competitor offerings, product specifications, and demographic data, using primary or secondary sources to support the creation of tools that will help us get ahead of our competition 

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field 
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience 
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills 
  • Experience in market research or consulting functions in the FMCG industry 
  • Experience of using NielsenIQ continuous data 
  • NielsenIQ SA&I product suite 
  • Good organisational and excellent interpersonal skills 
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management abilities 
  • Excellent written and oral communication with advanced copywriting skills 
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Tech-savvy 

Preferred knowledge & experience:

  • B2B marketing  
  • Experience with CRM software and sales intelligence tools like Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively
