Analyst (Data Operation / Client Operation)

Job Description

Acts as the liaison between the clients, commercials, and various operational teams. This role advises, suggests, and discusses solutions with the internal and external clients in terms of NielsenIQ Products for all operational matters, without sales activities, as well as builds operational trust in the data and its quality. This role is a client-facing role.

  1. Responsible for the efficient layout of the databases, including the submission of proactive suggestions to the client to simplify the databases and to speed up the processes.
  2. Might be dedicated to the sort set of clients (less complex) within a specific industry group and maintain a strong relationship with them.
  3. Advises, suggests and discusses solutions with the client and commercial team in regard to client requirements, and plays an “interface role” between client, commercial teams and operations.
  4. Acts as the advocate or support of clients to constantly improve our technical solutions and processes in order to meet our competitive position as market leader.
  5. Ensure direct communication with the client (face to face, phone, mail), especially in case of escalations.
  6. Builds market knowledge locally to ensure capability of consulting clients proactively on industry trends and recommend data improvements.
  7. Generates status reports for client projects and supervises the performance in regard to the expectations.
  8. Keep track of contractual obligations in relation to quality and prioritizes workload / escalates accordingly to mitigate potential penalty risks.
  9. Coordination of technical specifications directly with the client.
  10. Build strong network and Nielsen image at client side to support NPS score.

Qualifications

  1. Strong technical understanding of the operations production platforms and capabilities to secure the necessary translation of client requirements into a technical specification
  2. Good understanding of the local FMCG industry
  3. Good relationship management skills to effectively liaise with commercial, clients and various operational teams
  4. Well-developed analytical skills and very good attention to details
  5. Proactive attitude in recommending suitable solutions, demonstrates a “Can-Do” & results-oriented attitude
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team to achieve goals together
  7. Problem solving skills
  8. Time management skills
  9. Strong communication, both verbal and written, easiness in presenting complex operational topics in a simple way
  10. Good Excel knowledge is a must
