About this job

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales, North America to lead and scale our U.S. sales organization during a period of strong growth. This role is responsible for setting and executing the commercial strategy, building high‑performing sales teams, and driving revenue across a diverse portfolio of consumer intelligence and omnichannel measurement solutions. 

The Vice President of Sales will report to the Head of North America Consumer Intelligence and serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to accelerate market impact and customer success.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and operating plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.  

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high‑performing sales organization across North America, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

  • Recruit, hire, and develop top sales talent, including onboarding and ongoing training programs.  

  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting, delivering clear insights to senior leadership.  

  • Manage and optimize sales budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and strong return on investment. 

  • Lead a team of sellers focused on omnichannel measurement solutions (including Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, and emerging platforms), consumer panel data, and digital shelf analytics across North America. 

  • Establish and strengthen strategic relationships with key prospects and enterprise clients, acting as an executive sponsor where appropriate. 

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy and product positioning.  

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align go‑to‑market initiatives and ensure a seamless customer experience.  

  • Prepare and present sales performance updates, insights, and recommendations at leadership and company meetings. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.  

  • 5–7+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, with demonstrated success scaling teams and delivering revenue growth.  

  • 5–7+ years of experience in a direct selling role within a SaaS or data‑driven solutions environment.  

  • Proven experience selling solutions related to consumer panel data, digital shelf analytics, or audience measurement. 

  • Deep industry experience in CPG/FMCG required; exposure to Apparel, Travel, Technology, or Durable Goods strongly preferred.  

  • Familiarity with retail and omnichannel ecosystems is a plus. 

  • Experience leveraging or selling AI‑enabled capabilities strongly preferred.  

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling narratives. 

  • Strong knowledge of modern sales methodologies, forecasting techniques, and performance management practices.  

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and executive‑level presentation skills. 

  • Highly strategic, analytical, and creative thinker with strong organizational skills.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $141,500.00 - $159,600.00.  Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
