Payroll Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to manage and support payroll operations for EMEA, specifically for Western Europe. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing through Strada Payroll system and local payroll vendors. The analyst will also handle employee queries and issue resolution via Workday Help, our ticketing system.
This role plays a key part in ensuring payroll compliance across Western Europe and supports a positive employee experience through accurate payroll delivery and effective issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage monthly payroll cycles for assigned Western Europe countries, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing.
- Maintain and validate payroll data in the payroll system, ensuring seamless integration with Workday.
- Serve as the primary contact for Workday Help tickets related to payroll, ensuring timely and effective resolution of employee queries.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data consistency and alignment across systems.
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations of payroll data and reports.
- Support statutory filings, year-end reporting, and compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
- Assist in testing and validating payroll system updates and integration enhancements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay informed of changes in legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in EMEA payroll operations, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Strada Payroll, with experience in Workday integration.
- Familiarity with Workday Help or similar ticketing systems for managing employee support.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in another European language is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of EMEA labour, social security, and payroll tax regulations
