About the Role

The Account Development Manager (AD) is a key commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth, renewals, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of FMCG clients. You will build strong relationships, uncover new opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions that help clients grow using the full NIQ product suite.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels within assigned client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement.

· Expand local stakeholder networks by identifying new budget owners, buyer personas, and decision-makers.

· Act as the primary point of contact for local client needs, ensuring smooth delivery of services and solutions.

Sales Ownership & Revenue Growth

· Own forecasting, pipeline management, and the achievement of revenue targets for your portfolio.

· Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of near-term and long-term revenue opportunities through proactive market insight and client intelligence.

· Identify and close new revenue opportunities across both short and long sales cycles.

· Lead renewal discussions and ensure consistent protection of recurring revenue.

Strategic Account Planning

· Develop and execute strategic account plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) in partnership with Global Account Development and Customer Success teams.

· Build a deep understanding of each client’s business, challenges, and industry dynamics to recommend data-driven solutions.

· Use CRM and other internal tools effectively to manage account plans, track progress, and execute with excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Bring in the right product specialists and subject-matter experts to support complex opportunities and enhance client outcomes.

· Coordinate seamlessly with Customer Success and Delivery teams to ensure quality execution and long-term growth.

Voice of Customer & Market Insight

· Capture and share insights from ongoing client interactions to inform product, commercial, and operational teams.

· Stay close to FMCG and retail trends to help clients navigate challenges and identify growth opportunities.

Role Requirements

Experience & Skills

· 2–3 years in a commercial or client-facing role, ideally in FMCG, insights, or data-driven industries.

· Strong understanding of FMCG manufacturers and retailers.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Proven sales drive with experience in negotiation and relationship management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate data-driven solutions.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Skilled in working with digital tools and CRM systems.

· Previous account management experience is an advantage.

Capabilities

· Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.

· High sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.

· Strong time management, organization, and project management abilities.

· Numerical literacy and comfort working with data.

Qualifications

· Very strong business English (written and verbal).

· Proven track record of delivering results in a commercial environment.

· FMCG experience and/or familiarity with NIQ or similar data products is a plus.
