Based on the main pillars of Catman (Category Management) methodology—Portfolio Optimization—the Assortment Solutions team excels in consulting data, analyzing market behavior. We use KPIs to help clients make better decisions and the team's main goal is to provide powerful insights to clients, giving them a clearer overview and enhancing the potential of each brand they manage.  

As an Jr Project Consultant, you will enhance NielsenIQ's Analytics and Activation Practice by conducting marketing research and analyzing sell-out data to recommend potentially the best way to optimize execution across various distribution channels. You will compile, analyze, and interpret data, write client reports, and create presentations independently. You will generate highly polished analyses, providing clear conclusions and recommendations in a precise manner, supporting the Assortment Solutions team in driving revenue and fostering repeat business with clients! 

Job Description

  • Assist in the execution of market research projects, supporting the process from initial creation to the finalization of inputs and analytical/insights deliverables. 
  • Contribute to the writing of consultative reports using study data and client objectives, and participate in client meetings and presentations, providing necessary support materials. 
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Assortment portfolio and studies offered, and proactively use the tools and resources available. 
  • Identify questions/issues and seek solutions for clients, effectively utilizing available resources. 
  • Support the team in meeting internal and external deadlines, collaborating with Data Operations team members, Statisticians, Modelling, etc. 
  • Leverage support functions and efficiently execute established processes. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Economics, International Relations, Marketing, Engineer, and others related). 
  • Experience in market data analysis and insights generation within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. 
  • Microsoft Office Package (mandatory Excel and desirable Power BI). 
  • Advanced level of English is a must. 
  • Strong Analytical skills, Intellectual curiosity and Critical thinking. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Adaptability to a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
