 As Software Engineer, you are part of the Global Media Measurement Tech and Client Operations management team and focus on maintaining healthy solutions and products that are operated globally.

Our Media Measurement team uses state-of-the-art technologies and rigorous methods to track who is watching what, where, and how they engage with content. Our clients can evaluate who is consuming which content across different media, platforms and devices, and know what the audience thinks about that content. As people consume media content on more channels, and through more devices, than ever before, we are proud to provide a full view on media consumption.

In this role you will:  

  • Develop high performant and portable applications in modern C++ (C++17-20); 
  • Apply best practices in software development, security, and observability. 
  • Inspect and analyze network capture files with Wireshark; 
  • Troubleshoot and debug Household network installations remotely; 
  • Provide first level support; 
  • Comply with corporate security guidelines; 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of software development experience in C++; 
  • Familiar with basic network protocols, such as ARP, NDP, IP, TCP, UDP and TLS; 
  • Be able to analyze a simple Pcap file and understand what’s going on the network; 
  • Be able to decompose a SW task in several small SW components with special focus on testability and maintainability; 
  • Familiar with SW design patterns and algorithms; 
  • Very good knowledge of the C++ standard template library; 
  • Proven experience with unit testing using a C++ testing framework (e.g. GoogleTest), Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus; 
  • Experience in working with AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, Cognito, Lambda) 
  • Experience in database development (MongoDB, MySQL) is a plus; 
  • Experience in Linux as main working station.
